Web 2.0 is a concept that was invented to designate the new generation of social Internet sites that depend on active participation from users in order to be able to expand. The basic concept is to build an Internet community for the users of an internet site to which the users will constantly return due to a feeling of belonging.

Bloggers, with the potential for feedback and related discussions, or services’ profile pages, have taken over much of the market for the personal web sites, which had their days of glory at the turn of the millennium. This means that it is increasingly important for Internet services to provide this type of services in order to draw in users.
