Eventum
Eventum is the Open Source licensed support/case management system that assists you in improving your control over your case management, regardless of whether your enterprise poses strict requirements for efficient management of customer cases/inquiries or whether you just wish to gain control over your own internal processes.
Eventum was originally developed by MySQL and is used as a hub in their complicated management of customer cases that are reported by customers and responded to by developers around the entire world. Eventum offers functionality such as E-mail integration – creating the case based upon an E-mail received or exchanging information by communicating with E-mail through the system, configuring status information, priorities, projects and other parameters in order to adapt the system to your enterprise’s processes, role-based user management, etc. Eventum is based upon the MySQL open database and the PHP programming language, which result in no licensing fees being applicable for an implementation of Eventum.
Redpill Linpro uses Eventum internally in our own support enterprises, and we have delivered customised solutions to customers that include WireLessCar, Swedish Municipalities and County Councils, Zitius Service Delivery, Synsam, SSAB, Polopoly, etc. The system’s flexibility and Web technology make it possible to customise it for most case management processes and Redpill has, among other things, delivered a project in which Eventum is used for system support in the implementation of ITIL in a support process.
