Redpill Linpro has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SpringSource, the leader in Java application infrastructure and management .
SpringSource provides a number of popular solutions, e g Spring Framework, the leading Java programming model on the market. This framework currently supports half of all Java projects, and is used by two million users worldwide.
SpringSource's customers include half of the Global 2000 corporations. In March 2009, SpringSource/ Hyperic was appointed one of Gartner Group's s cloud computing “Cool Vendors”.
Preferred provider
The agreement makes Redpill Linpro the preferred SpringSource provider in the Nordic region, offering the whole range of products and services from licenses to support, consulting and training. We will also use the SpringSource tools to develop new product and services concepts adjusted to our Nordic market.
The recent VMware acquisition of SpringSource does not influence the cooperation.
Redpill Linpro is already a JBoss and Red Hat partner for Java solutions, offering the leading professional environment in Scandinavia in this area. The SourceSpring cooperation is a further complement, emphasizing Redpill Linpro's Java competence
