Norwegian location
Redpill Linpro's Nordic Cloud is hosted in Norway, and managed exclusively by our staff located in Norway. Our cloud infrastructure is located in three independent and geographically separated data centres in Oslo, interconnected with a redundant and private network. Internet connectivity is provided by internationally renowned Tier-1 carriers, and we are directly connected to the Norwegian Internet Exchange (NIX).
This ensures that our customers' business critical applications are available at all times, and data is stored and processed according to European laws.
Network and storage security
Redpill Linpro is assigned an internet Autonomous System (AS), with internet connectivity to the Norwegian Internet Exchange (NIX), several upstream providers and dedicated, redundant network connectivity between data centres. Our networks are protected by a firewall, and customers are separated in different network zones and security groups.
All our personnel is required to use a VPN solution with state of the art encryption to access our infrastructure or any customer solution, and access is restricted to necessary personnel.
At regular intervals, we conduct automated security scans of our entire network to identify network openings and undocumented changes. In addition to other measures, this helps us to identify undesired configuration changes and prevent that customer solutions are compromised.
We are also able to implement Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention Systems for our customers.
We constantly improve our infrastructure so that your business data is always secure and protected against threats and data loss.
Denial of Service attacks
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are, unfortunately, a well-known challenge for anyone providing services on the internet. Redpill Linpro has extensive experience with handling and successfully averting DDoS attacks, and we use different solutions and technologies depending on the type of attack. Redpill Linpro has the required expertise and experience to successfully mitigate even sophisticated attacks against our customers' applications.
In addition, we can offer automated attack mitigation tailored to your specific needs in cooperation with our internet providers.

In todays digitally connected world, IT infrastructure does not only perform supportive functions, but is at the core of the very business processes for our customers. Entrusted with managing and supporting this infrastructure, Redpill Linpro has the responsibilty to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and services.
Redpill Linpro has a strong focus on security in everything we do. Taking industry best practice and more than 20 years of experience, we constantly improve on our automation platform to deliver secure and high-quality services. Our standards and guidelines are the basis for automation tooling, used to implement and deliver customer solutions. Regular quality checks ensure that all standards and requirements are met, while any deviations are closely monitored as they are rectified.
Our Nordic Cloud is physically located in dedicated data rooms managed and physically secured by GlobalConnect, a leading provider of data centres and fiber communications in Northern Europe. Our data centres are monitored 24/7 via video, and access is restricted to necessary personnel only.
Compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 (GDPR) is important for our customers and ourselves.
Redpill Linpro personnel working on our infrastructure and customer data will only do so from territory covered by the GDPR, including article 45.
